Postcard from O. O. Wolden to Fred A. Smith
O. O. Wolden explains that he has been unable to get a Capitol card for Fred A. Smith, but will have some of “our town” in a few weeks. Wolden tells Smith not to come too often as his “subjects are meager.” The postcard depicts “Roosevelt’s cabin on ranch near Medora, North Dakota, where he lived from 1883 to 1886.” The cabin shown is the Maltese Cross (or Chimney Butte) ranch cabin. Chimney Butte appears in the background.
