Kermit Roosevelt had a great time and thanks John Campbell Greenway for hosting him. He has found the plains to be very hot and dry. Roosevelt hopes the Greenways have received rain and looks forward to seeing them in New York soon.

John Campbell Greenway has been elected as a regular member of the Boone and Crockett Club. Kermit Roosevelt will be sending, under separate cover, the club yearbook, and asks for Greenway’s preferred permanent address. In a postscript, Roosevelt asks what the chances are of Greenway being at the December dinner and notes his sister’s “competition.”

Kermit Roosevelt will send Robert Harry Munro Ferguson the Cuban negatives. Roosevelt says “Hurrah for July 15!” and hopes that Ferguson received their telegram.

Kermit Roosevelt thinks that John T. McCutcheon’s Far East trip sounds interesting. The Soviets are reluctant to provide American visas, and Roosevelt cautions that arranging for a crossing of the Gobi Desert or Siberia will be difficult. He offers to write letters on behalf of McCutcheon.
