Letter from William O. Kuebler to Theodore Roosevelt
William O. Kuebler had received a letter of introduction to Theodore Roosevelt, but unfortunately missed being able to speak with him, and therefore has decided to write a personal letter. Kuebler invites Roosevelt to attend a meeting of an organization representing a large number of citizens and trades of Newark, New Jersey. A previous meeting was attended by former New Jersey Governor Edward C. Stokes and Judge Robert Carey, who spoke highly of it. The club is home to many Roosevelt supporters, and Kuebler promises that if Roosevelt came to speak to them they would not commercialize the occasion.
