Judge Kruse wishes President Roosevelt a happy birthday, and reminisces on a time when President Roosevelt stood up to a bullying fellow assembly member on the floor of the New York State Assembly. Kruse wishes that Roosevelt would run for another term, but believes that William H. Taft is a worthy successor.
