Letter from Martha Baker Dunn to Theodore Roosevelt

Martha Baker Dunn recently received a letter from Holman Day, who conveyed good wishes from President Roosevelt and made Baker “feel that Christmas had got along ahead of time and full of good cheer.” Dunn is glad that President-Elect Taft won the election because he was Roosevelt’s favored candidate, but will miss having her friend in the White House. Dunn’s son, Henry W. Dunn, will be in Washington, D.C., soon, and she asks that Roosevelt spare a moment to see him, if it is convenient.
