Letter from William H. Cooke to Theodore Roosevelt

William H. Cooke, secretary of the Wichita Council of the Order of United Commercial Travelers of America, was very surprised by Theodore Roosevelt’s reply to a prior letter, and seeks to clarify the wish of the organization for Roosevelt to visit Wichita, Kansas. While he acknowledges Roosevelt’s inability to include the city on his upcoming western trip, such an inclusion was only a suggestion, and he asks Roosevelt to name a date which works better for him.
