William Jennings Bryan rides on the shoulders of the "Tammany" Tiger, carrying a banner that states "Repudiation and National Dishonor." Accompanying him are, on the left, John P. "Altgeld" holding a torch burning "Arnachism" [sic] and, on the right, Benjamin R. "Tillman" with a patch labeled "S.C. Primaries" over one eye and holding a pitchfork that appears to be soiled with manure.
