New in the TR Digital Library

This week the TR Center published a number of items in the digital library. Here are some highlights from the week’s new items.

  • Letters from Theodore Roosevelt to James Andrew Drain, president of the National Rifle Association.
  • Booker T. Washington writes Theodore Roosevelt with a list of African American men who would be good candidates for the position of civil magistrate in Washington, D.C.
  • Adelbert Moot congratulates President Roosevelt on inviting Booker T. Washington to the White House.
  • Theodore Roosevelt writes these words to Drain: “No man is fit to live unless he is ready to quit life for adequate cause.”
