Stacy A. Cordery

Stacy A. Cordery is a professor of History at Iowa State University and the Theodore Roosevelt Center’s visiting distinguished historian. Her biography Alice: Alice Roosevelt Longworth, from White House Princess to Washington Power Broker was a New York Times Notable Book. Cordery has also published two books about Theodore Roosevelt as well as the biography of Girl Scout founder Juliette Gordon Low. She is currently completing a biography of American entrepreneur Elizabeth Arden.

Dr. Cordery reviews selected materials for historical context and accuracy, writes articles for the Theodore Roosevelt encyclopedia, and advises and assists the staff with opportunities to serve the academic community and other audiences.
