This past Saturday, the staff here at the Theodore Roosevelt Center along with our families pitched in to help around the community as part of Dickinson State University’s 4th Annual Big Event. The day of service is put together by DSU’s Student Senate as a way for the college to say thank you to the community that does so much to support our efforts here on campus.
Staff from the TR Center volunteered at several of the area’s nursing homes, doing yard work and helping to pick up after a hard winter. Another group from the TR Center worked at the local police station, painting. We all enjoyed our day out in the community and think Theodore Roosevelt would have approved!
