Description:

Theodore Roosevelt writes to his sister Anna Roosevelt about the status of things with brother Elliott's alcoholism and the Katy Mann affair.  Elliott has entered treatment but Roosevelt does not think it will be sufficient. Elliot's wife Anna ought not to live with him or have any more children.

Roosevelt wants to know what Anna means when Elliot "threatens awful things" and says Elliot has talked suicide.
