Pamla Kukla, outreach and office coordinator, brings a background in education and journalism to the Theodore Roosevelt Center. She was an English teacher at Killdeer High School in southwestern North Dakota for twelve years. Kukla was a freelance journalist covering local events and the changing economy of North Dakota during the oil boom. Before joining the TR world, Kukla worked as an office manager for an oil field trucking company. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, knitting crowns, and mermaid tails for princesses.
She manages the Center's communication, promoting the use of the digital library, assisting with the Center's events, and administrative duties. Pamla hails from Killdeer and is looking forward to discovering more about Theodore Roosevelt and his legacy.
