Cataloging processes continue at the Theodore Roosevelt Center. Staff members are making progress on cataloging items related to the first term of President Roosevelt's presidency. A new group of volunteers also started work in the digital library. One special project intern also completed scanning and creating metadata for TR related items at the Arizona Historical Society in Tucson. Copyright review continues on items that TR himself wrote, providing good material for our Quote of the Day.
Items from the Arizona Historical Society continue to be published. Scanning of priority items at the State Historical Society in Bismarck was completed in September.
As of the end of September 2015, we have 50,117 items cataloged. Of this number, 41,210 items have been reviewed for accuracy and completeness, and 33,014 have gone through copyright review. There are now 30,690 items available for use in the Theodore Roosevelt Digital Library.
