Cataloging processes continue at the Theodore Roosevelt Center. Staff members are making progress on cataloging items related to the first term of President Roosevelt's presidency. Volunteers also continue to work in the digital library. Copyright review continues on items that TR himself wrote, providing good material for our Quote of the Day.
In March, the digital library coordinator made a research trip to Harvard and continued to advance the Digital Library's partnership. She also visited the Massachusetts Historical Society and began digitization conversations with them.
As of the end of March 2016, we have 50,750 items cataloged. Of this number, 44,127 items have been reviewed for accuracy and completeness, and 37,392 have gone through copyright review. There are now 34,815 items available for use in the Theodore Roosevelt Digital Library.
