Cataloging processes continue at the Theodore Roosevelt Center. Staff members are making progress on cataloging items related to the first term of President Roosevelt's presidency. Volunteers also continue to work in the digital library. Copyright review continues on items that TR himself wrote, providing good material for our Quote of the Day.

Eight interns from around the country continue to work in the digital library this month. They are learning every stage of the publication process for items. This month they focused on cataloging sheet music from the Dr. Danny O. Crew Collection.

The digital library coordinator is developing collaborations with Southern Methodist University in Dallas and the Frick Collection in New York City.

As of the end of August 2016, we have 53,650 items cataloged. Of this number, 47,141 items have been reviewed for accuracy and completeness, and 41,205 have gone through copyright review. There are now 37,859 items available for use in the Theodore Roosevelt Digital Library.
